European Builders Confederation

Increasingly, legislation on many issues which affect people involved with the construction industry is being driven by Europe. Recognising this, the FMB became a founder member and an active voice within the European Builders Confederation.

The EBC aims to raise standards in business management and technical application throughout its European membership and will put forward the agreed collective views of any member nation to the European Commission for further action.

The FMB is a trade association established over 60 years ago to protect the interests of small and medium-sized building firms – today it is the largest trade association in the UK building industry.
